Hi Everyone, Sometimes, I will get an error message in whatever program that I am using at the moment and JAWS will stop speaking until the error message is cleared. For example, if I am using IE and I get the message "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close", JAWS will fall silent until I hit the "close" button to close Internet Explorer. It will not read the error message. I either have to get someone sited to read the error message or I run another screen reader to see what is going on. Now, when JAWS stops speaking, I will hit the space bar so that, if this is the problem, it will close the error message. I have also encountered this with Word and Outlook. I am running JAWS 15 but this happened with JAWS 14 too. This has occurred ever sense I have had this computer. I have not had this problem on other machines. This is the only PC that I have used that is running Windows 8. I don't know if it is a Windows 8 thing or something specific to this computer. Any thoughts?
