Thank you, no it doesn't read the text when in forms mode either. I think something happened to IE 9 because it worked fine until a short while ago. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jorge Rivas" <[email protected]>

Hi,
You can always remove whatever you do not want from the program list later.

I believe you have to be in forms mode to edit, then it might read it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Trouble with IE 9

Hi All,

When using IE 9, Jaws will no longer read text entered into edit and search
fields. The bigger problem is that Jaws is also unable to activate radio
buttons. It's not a problem with Jaws though. At least I don't think so
because Firefox and Jaws are doing well. I'm using Jaws 13, IE 9 and Vista. I went to Microsoft.com to download IE 9 to do a reinstall, but even though
options without Bing and MSN appear to be available, I was unable to
download another version.

Do any of you know either how to do a repair of the currently installed IE 9
or how to get a version without Bing and MSN?'

Thank you,Shari
