Hi Rick,

WYSIWYG was used to describe the look of Windows95, as distinct from the looks of some operating systems that had come and gone before. I first came across it in the Duxbury Braille Translator program, where it was used to describe the look of the process of translating from print to braille.

Hi Flor,
Thank you for the explaination, don't believe I have ever heard of this
before.
Also, do you know what the "BLS" stands for?
Thank you,
Rick Justice

WYSIWYG is the acronym of initials for What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get.
Does that explain the matter.

Notepad++ is a general text and code editor, sort of like Notepad on
steroids.
Unlike Dreamweaver which is an html / css generator with a GUI
front-end, using Notepad++ requires you to know your html or css or
C++
code.
I haven't used Dreamweaver with JAWS but suspect it might be OK if
you
get rid of all the side panels etc.
The menu system is quite good; for example it is a very quick and
simple
way to insert a table into a web page, certainly much easier and
quicker
than hand coding every column and row.

Hi,

I know Notepadd++ is a text editor that supports HTML. Is it a "what
you
see is what you get" HTML editor as well?

I have not heard of arafnophilia. I will ceck it out.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Hi,

Apparently, I may not be able to get JAWS working with Adobe
Dreamweaver
CS 6, so I am looking for another HTML editor. Does anyone know
about a
WYSIWYG HTML editor that is accessible with JAWS 15?

Thank you.
