Trish,
A friend told me he uses a program called Bardwire or something like that to
recover passwords, but you might need a person with vision.
I am not sure how he does it, if he uses a loaded thumb drive or his pc.
Never mind on that thought, it could get complicated.

Go into the Pc through safe mode, you'll need visual help there to because
Jaws is not running yet.
Press the F8 key rapidly during boot up, until the safe mode screen comes
on.
There is about 5 menus there.
You can perform a restore pointt, run a XP repair, reinstall windows XP, let
windows restart your pc etc.
You'll need your XP disc, ID number and key number, if you choose to do a
reinstall.

The Cleaner or the C Cleaner is not going to help you with your problem,
it's just going to clean your hard drive and a lot of the times it will
remove more than you want to know (Files.).

HTH,
                                Jorge

I need to have my head examined, maybe my brain has been wiped. I can't do
anything to the pc, it's not online any longer.

Trish,

If you have Ccleaner, I believe that is one of the options in there

I was reviewing some of the offerings on the server this afternoon and
I
figured somebody out there might just be interested in what I found.
I have
known for sometime already that Aida 32 or however it is spelled does
not
work on 64 bit systems, so it's probably going to be coming down. I
discovered that Magical Jelly Bean works accurately on all flavors of
windows 7 and of course XP as well.

I retrieved some product keys and compared them to what I already had
on
file and the results were exactly correct. I'm kind of in the process
of
building myself a for the lack of a better term portable tool kit. IE
a
flash drive with most of what I consider important for working on
somebody
else's system which land on my desk from time to time.

So far asterisk logger, magical jelly bean and some windows updates
have
made the cut so to speak. Along with driver magician and things like
windows
7 service pack 1 for both 32 and 64 bit systems. Don't try this
without at
least a 16 GB flash drive.
