Attachmate and other mainframe emulators do not give much information out of the box. I think that is why changing the verbosity has little effect. If you could be more specific as to what the extra speech is or what you wish to accomplish I may be able to be of some help. Folks, when using the speech verbosity settings if you change it from beginner to advance there seems to be no affect using the emulator Attachmate Extra or attachmate Reflections to access mainframe data. It was thought that by changing the verbosity from beginner to advance the text spoken would be less but there seems to be no change. This was done while in the application and saved so it would be application specific. Even played with the configuration under advance settings with no avail... It works, of course on other more basic applications. Any thoughts in regards to the "verbosity" of an application like Attachmate Extra or attachmate Reflections? Any comments would be appreciated. Later...
