Hi Flor, I do have Office 97 sounds installed but, I think I may have figured out what is happening, after spending time on my iBarstool deeply pondering the situation! Yeah right! LOL LOL
The, process complete, task sound assigned only works when opening a document that's already been saved but, not when opening a new document. I don't know which sound task to assign to a new document but, I would assume that it would be , open program, in the list tree view but, I sure as hell don't want some sound going off whenever I open a program! LOL LOL I could try using the dictionary manager but, that ain't happening tonight! If you have a different idea I'm all ears. Thank you very much for your input & reply. Take care.
