I am having a similar problem with Outlook 2010 and JAWS 14 on 2 Windows7 machines at work when replying to a message. I have not had time to call FS about it, but here is what I do.
When replying to a message everything sounds just fine as I am typing in the body of the message. When I use the arrow keys to re-read the message, JAWS says nothing. I then Alt+Tab away from the message, and then Alt+Tab back to the message. Now I can navigate inside the body of the message as usual, but what I find is everything I typed minus the spaces and hard returns. I then have to go back and insert them in, or just delete the entire thing and start over. I've now learned to check things out after typing the greeting of my message. I hope to later in the week call FS. No matter what I try, I cannot fix the problem. I cannot read character by character in either program successfully. When I must go back to make a correction, this is impossible; it will not read and says nothing. I can read phrases however with control plus and arrow key. How can I fix this annoying problem which wastes my time right now??? Thank you for all of your help.
