The reason I asked is that it sounds like something is changing without your direct input such as a screen-saver, or some type of application that changes what is being displayed. Here is an example of what I have experienced when any version of Jaws has lost focus I have more than 1 program open, and have been Alt Tabbing between them, and when I close one of the programs, and check the title bar, I find that instead of focus being on one of the other programs, there is no focus. Does this happen in any particular program? It sounds like the screen is being updated and Jaws is not getting the focus, but instead is looking somewhere in between. HTH, Rick Justice
