Hi Holger,
It's been recommended to use the Window's Classic desktop theme. To do
this, do the following:
Note: When you open, Personalize, your current desktop theme will be
highlighted so, pay attention to your current theme so you can go back to if
you don't like the Windows Classic theme.
1. While on the desktop press, control + spacebar, to make sure that nothing
is selected.
2. Open the context menu with the applications key or, shift + F10, arrow
down to Personalize & press enter.
3. You will now be in the Themes Gallery. here the different themes are in
columns & rows. To find the Windows Classic Theme, arrow down to Windows7
Basic, & right arrow 1 time to Windows Classic & press enter. It might take
minute or 2 for the computer to do its thing but, you should hear a slight
sound when the computer is done making the theme change.
Also, changing themes will probably change your Sound Schemes as well. So,
you might have to alter your sound schemes to get the sounds you want.

The reason I asked is that it sounds like something is changing without your
direct input
such as a screen-saver, or some type of application that changes what is
being displayed.
Here is an example of what I have experienced when any version of Jaws has
lost focus
I have more than 1 program open, and have been Alt Tabbing between them,
and when I close one of the programs, and check the title bar, I find that
instead of focus being on one of the other programs, there is no focus.
Does this happen in any particular program?
It sounds like the screen is being updated and Jaws is not getting the
focus, but instead is looking somewhere in between.

no saver screen. However I do have unsave theme. Do not recall do I put it
on window seven or window basic?
