Hi Jim,

Well, after checking again today the menues show so, as long as that is good
I guess it doesn't make any difference what does or, does not show in the
Toolbars. Thanks again for your input.
Take care.
Mike

Not sure Mike.
Under personlize, I have my computer set on windows 7 basic, I am not sure
if this would make a difference or not.

Hi Jim,

Thank you very much for your reply. To put it more easily, Jaws is seeing
the, Menues, toolbar but, my wife who is sighted, can't physically see it.
So, a better question might be, what setting needs to be changed so the,
Menues toolbar, shows? Thanks again.
Take care.

Hi Mike:

I would think that they would effect all users of the computer if I am
understanding your question correctly.
this is just a guess...

Subject: [JAWS-Users] View & Toolbars Settings

Hi All,

I'm setting up a Win7 computer for my wife but, when I go into Windows
Explorer or Internet Explorer View Menu / Toolbars the menues option is
checked &, when she is in the same, the Menues option isn't there at all.
For me in, Tools / options / view tab & in the Tree View, Always show menues
is checked. Now my question: When I make changes like, Always show menues,
with Jaws running, does this only effect Jaws & the Jaws user or, should
these choices effect all users of the computer sighted or, blind? We don't
have separate accounts on her computer, log-in with a password isn't
required. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
Take care.
Mike
