Dave,
Try to rename the file.
Shift + F10 and go to M, press enter.
When done Re-editing, press enter.

I have a USB thumb drive with the capability to record .wav files. The
problem is that it dates the files incorrectly. As an example, I made a
recording 4/26/2014 and the properties show the date of 3/13/2013. Is there
some way to correct the problem?
