Hello;

I received three replies to my inquiry and I will try to address all of them
here.

1. I renamed the file but the dates of creation and modification did not
change. The last date accessed did change to today.

2. The item looks just like any other thumb drive with a small slide on/off
switch at the end. I am not sure where it was purchased, but I believe it
was where I bought an atomic watch and a metal signing guide. It has "USB
Disk Recorder" on the side. My wife got several hits for that on Amazon.

3. I believe all the documentation that came with it was just operational
instructions on a small sheet.

It charges while plugged into the computer and will record up to 15 hours
when charged. The price, I believe, was $45 to $50. The only thing
negative I can say about it is that there is no instant play back without a
computer as there is with a tape recorder.

Thanks to all,

Dave

David,

Where did you get this thumb drive. I have never heard of such a thing.
Could you tell me the brand, name, and where purchased, and I will try to
help you discern an answer to your question. Thanks.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Recording thumb drive

Hello;

I have a USB thumb drive with the capability to record .wav files. The
problem is that it dates the files incorrectly. As an example, I made a
recording 4/26/2014 and the properties show the date of 3/13/2013. Is there
some way to correct the problem?

All help appreciated,

David Maynard
