All XP systems are 32 bit if jaws is installed on it.

On XP, go to the control panel.
Press S for quick nav
 And open System.
It should tell you as soon as you open it.

Does this command also work with Windows XP Professional>? When I pressed 
Windows+Pause, I landed in a multi-paged dialog with lots of information 
Windows+but

didn't see anything about whether I had a 32 or 64 bit machine.
