Chris, I am so sorry, I stated the wrong thing with the command for creating an invite. Give Control+Shift+q a try.

I tried the CTRL-Q keystroke from my inbox and the Outlook calendar in Outlook 2010. That command seems to be invalid. CTRL-2 is the command to access the calendar and the procedure for scheduling an appointment and setting up a meeting request is basically the same as sending an email message. Thanks, Chris. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Annette Carr Sent: Monday, May 05, 2014 9:06 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Problems sending meeting requests in Outlook 2010 Hi Chris, Give this a try and see if it makes any difference. 1. From your Inbox, or maybe even from your calendar view use the Control+q command to open a new calendar invite. 2. Enter the necessary info in each of the fields as you are most likely used to doing. 3. Use the Alt+S command to send the invite. Be aware that as the creator of the invite, you will not get a copy in your Inbox, nor will you be able to accept or deny it. As you stated, the invite should be in your sent folder. Maybe you have some type of filter or other view setting set that is impacting your ability to see the invite. I believe that there is a setting that will delete an invite once you accept or deny it. Maybe there is some other setting that is impacting your invites. I have an issue which has potentially cost me a business opportunity and swallowed up a bunch of my day. When I schedule an appointment in 2010 and send a meeting request, my invites aren't showing up in my sent items or going out to the recipients. I've contacted tech support and they were able to send a test message to one of my accounts, so I have reason to think it's an access issue. I'm using JAWS 15 build 9023 on a 64 bit PC running Windows 7. I'm taking the following steps: 1. Open outlook 2010 2. Access the calendar with CTRL -2 3. Tab to the desired date; 4. Open a new appointment; 5. Enter subject and start and end times 6. Go to the "appointment" ribbon and tab to "Invite Attendees" 7. Enter recipients in the "to" field 8. Send the meeting request with the ALT-S command At this point, My recipients and I should receive an email prompting me to except the meeting, but nothing shows up. I've also reviewed previous messages on the JAWS-Users list and the above procedure is recommended. Can you tell me if I'm missing something? Thanks, Chris.
