FYI. I usually just right-click on the file I want to burn, and then press n 
for "send to" and arrow down to DVD DRIVE, and windows takes over with 
simple steps to burn a disc, avoiding WMP. I am using vista, so am not sure 
if this  works with Win 7 or 8.
