The free software that gives you back the classic start menu in Windows 8 or 8.1? It is free, and works really well. Another choice, that costs a few dollars, is Start Is Back. This one gives you a choice of Start Menu styles, the XP menu, or the Windows 7 version too. Again, there is a version for Windows 8 and one for 8.1. I also like Freetec's idea.
