You may not want to do that since there's been a release of a hack that allows XP to receive updates until 2019.

While Microsoft is not denouncing this hack as being against their terms of conditions of license, they are saying that people should use the hack at their own risk since it's mainly for server stations, and professionals.

Having said that though, it would appear that XP's demise has been greatly exaggerated.

This should not affect most of you, but I wanted to let you know that I am
in the process of pulling down much of the material that is dedicated to XP
since it is no longer being supported.

Just by removing the older versions of IE that I had up there dropped my
server usage over 100 MB. I just wish I could find the time to refill it
with more information that is current and I will when it presents itself.
