The following applies when using JAWS 15.
Here are a couple things to try:
1. First try turning on the tracking of changes using the keystroke
CTRL+Shift+E.
2. Press Windows key with semicolon. A list of different types of changes
to check for will appear. Use down and up arrow keys to make your selection
and press enter key.
3. If you choose revisions from the list then JAWS will give you a list of
the revisions. Use down arrow key to read them. The author property
followed by the content of the revision is given. Each revision has a link
and pressing enter key on that link takes you to the revision in the
document. In JAWSÂ 15, the list of revisions includes text marked by an
author using a highlight color. Press the escape key to dismiss the virtual
window.
4. Press CTRL+Shift+E again to turn off track changes when you are
finished.
5. If no revisions are found check for comments. Use Windows key with
semicolon and from the list of options pick comments. Comments are listed
whether or not track changes is turned on. The information is given in the
virtual window with the author name given followed by the comment. Move to
a specific comment by pressing enter key on a link. Each comment will have
an associated link. Another way to list comments is by using the keystroke
of CTRL+Shift+apostrophe. Press enter key on the comment to move to and
read it using Alt+Shift+Apostrophe.
