[JAWS-Users] Issue With Enabling and Disabling Mouse Pad on Laptop

Hi users.  I have noticed that when I press the function key plus 
f5 on my laptop to enable the mouse pad, JAWS does not let me 
know it has occurred; nor does it let me know if the procedure 
has been disabled.  Is this standard or is there something else I 
need to change in the settings centre in order for JAWS to make 
these announcements?
