Mike, I'm using a Lenovo and for the life of me, I can't disable that
mousepad. What normally shows up in the properties work sheet doesn't show
up in my two Lenovos.
I've tried f6 and f8 and neither one of those does it.
Any other suggestions?

Hi Michele,
What brand of laptop are you using? Diffeerent brands / makers will have
different keystrokes for disabling / enabling the function keys, from what
I
understand.

On my gateway laptop function key 6 on the numeric key row toggles the
on/off touch pad.
