I'm so glad that I could help you. I use that insert a lot. Patti Hi; Patti; your suggestion worked. Turning on "Insert Mode" solved the problem. In a later message David gave another suggestion. I will be trying that one as well. I will let the list know what happens.
Thank you so much for all of your help. Do you have insert mode turned on, because if you do all you have to do is press insert and let go, and press the other key.s This acts like you have the insert key pressed down. Here is how you turn insert mode on 1, press insert 6, on the number row 2, press ctrl shift D 3, arrow down to users 4, right arrow 5, down arrow to insert mode 6, make sure it is checked 7, tab to ok. I hope this makes things better. Patti Hi James, You have to angle your hand and stretch those fingers with the left hand. And with the right press the insert. It works on this end. My problem is that I can not hold down the "FN Key", the "insert Key", and the "f7 key" all at the same time. Do I press the "Shift Lock key" and the "FN key at the same time? Or, do I press the "Shift Lock key" first and then the "FN key? Thanks for your help so far.
