Hello. Don't know why JAWS behaves the same on my computer having adobe reader xi as well. To overcome this problem, what I simply do is that if jaws say "blank", I simply minimize this window, and maximize again. Now it will be readable. But finally I've remove this version of adobe reader, and still using the old version which is adobe reader 9. and it is working fine for me.
