Updates are different than upgrades. A maintenance update within a
version shouldn't break scripts. However, and upgrade, such as from
version 15 to 16 could very well break any 3rd party scripts. This
happens at my work whenever a new version of JAWS comes out. This is why
we wait to upgrade until we are notified that new scripts are available.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [JAWS-Users] updating Jaws

I am running Jaws 15. It says there is an update. I have special scripts

that run to make my medical transcription platform work more
efficiently. If
I update Jaws, will those scripts still be incorporated into the update?

Thank you.
