Donggkles are provided when JAWS users need repeat refreshes of authorizations. the donggle essentially hardwires JAWS in current and future versions to one's computer, avoiding the problem of authorizing with each upgrade. It's not hard to see that the donggle, unless it has built in fraud protection, could enable anyone to use JAWS without a license. So how do I know? I had to request re-ups to my update authorizations twice in the last six months due to computer issues. Yes, the donggle is interesting. Anything to streamline the somewhat cumbersome authorization process is welcome in my house.
