If the skype icon is on your desktop, you can press ski and press enter, but I would get famular with the icons that begin with s first as when jaws is turned off, you do not want to click the wrong item, or create a hotkey to launch skype.

Their solution was to unload jaws, and then press enter on the skype Icon, then turn jfw back on. If you are unsure about that, I would just create a keystroke to launch skype by going into the properties that way you will know if skype was launched.
