Convenient OCR works in Jaws 15 of course, but if he is getting a blank OCR 
document, which means it is an image, you need Jaws 16 for document 
recognition.  Jaws-key, with space, O for Convenient OCR, and D for document 
recognition.

Keep in mind that the document OCR only works with JAWS 16.
