Jerald, to answer your question, when you open malwarebytes, the first thing 
that comes up is the dashboard! hit your right arrow on the keyboard, then 
you’ll navagate to the scan button, tab around, and you’ll see radio buttons, 
one of them is a threat scan, and the other is a custom scan, and a hyper scan 
as well, depending if you have the payed version!
