Hi, In my case, it eventually got tired of me clicking remind me later and it went ahead and downloaded it and installed it. One day, I was working in a Word document and, all of a sudden, JAWS said "please wait while your computer is upgraded to Windows 8.1" or something to that effect. Thankfully, my wife was around and she completed the upgrade process for me because, as has been said, it is not accessible. I know that many people like 8.1 but, personally, I find my computer, which came with Windows 8, to be less stable after the upgrade to 8.1. I wish it had given me a choice about updating.
