Hi Tim, So you saying that if I check the box to have it run in the system tray it will not be on the task bar? I went to options then basic and check to run in task bar.

The last stage of the JAWS installation process will automatically bring up the startup wizard. One of the options in there is a checkbox, off by default, to have JAWS reside in the system tray. Check that box. You can always re-do the startup wizard. Go into JAWS, then help, then startup wizard.
