Hi

If you want to open an account from the Quicken account list using quicken
2006 through Quicken 2015, You have to open the account list, arrow to the
account you want, then route the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor and left click
by pressing numpad slash or capslock+number row 8 for the laptop layout.
Another way to open an account is to use the Quicken menus. For banking
accounts,(checking, savings, credit card, cash, etc.), press alt+s for the
spending menu, then press a to open the spending and savings accounts
sub-menu. Then arrow down or use first letter navigation to get to the
account you want and press enter. For investment accounts, (Brokerage,
mutual fund, etc.), press alt+I to open the investing menu, then press a
twice to get to the investing accounts sub-menu and right arrow to open it.
Opening a property and debt account, (asset, loan, etc.), is the same as for
spending accounts, except that you can't get to the property and debt
account by pressing alt +p since that will open the planning menu. So press
alt+I for the investing menu and then right arrow to the property and debt
menu or alt+p for the planning menu and left arrow to get to the property
and debt menu. Open the property and debt accounts sub-menu and open the
account you want.

Hi I have a question and hope someone can help me.

I have installed Quicken 2015 on my computer and have updated to JAWS
16.0.1925. I am able to bring up a list of my accounts (CTRL+A) but cannot
open any of the account registers. I place the focus on the account I wish
to open but neither pressing ENTER, SPACEBAR nor TAB will open the register.
What am I doing wrong? Are there any particular settings within Quicken 2015
that will improve accessibility with JAWS?

Regards,
