I  agree. MSE never found anything. I  switched to AVG. Not sure about that
one either.

I never had any luck with MSE, it always found nothing, then I would run
another virus scan that would. The Microsoft Malware Removal Tool is just as
bad.

I use to have a result announced vut   it would display nothing found or
your pc is protected
but now that I remember that might have been when I was using AVG
