Hi.

Have you tryed to reduce the graphic accellerator?

Regarding which graphic card you have in your computer, Jaws can have diffaculties when the graphical information is working to fast.

Just out of curiosity, what prompted you to change the screen
resolution? I hadn't thought of trying that.

hello;
well, I did experience similar issues, so, I decided to change my screen
resolution.
I changed the screen resolution to 1024 times 768,
curiously enough, symtems have seemed to disappear.

I had a similar problem with version, but for me the cursor seemed to
jump while I was typing. Consequently the words would end up out of
order and would make no sense. I got tired of having to reread and
correct each message before sending so I went back to version 15 and
have not updated.

Hi Group,

I have a friend of mine that is having a JAWS 16 issue. If you can help
or
make any suggestions on this problem, your help would be greatly
appreciated. Below is the email I received from him.

Hello, all. I am still not having any success with my earlier issue
involving JAWS 16. I just thought I would revisit, updating you on what I
tried most recently, and see if anyone at all has a suggestion. Please
pardon the lengthy post, by the way.

I am using JAWS 16.0.1925 on a Fujitsu laptop, Windows 7 64-bit. I have 8
mb
of RAM and a 2.1 processor.

When I read through a document line by line, using the down arrow, JAWS
often rereads the line, even though I have pressed DownArrow. In
addition,
I
am a fast typer, and sometimes I notice that JAWS messes up email
addresses
and subject lines in emails I send through Outlook 2010. I could blame
this
on my typing, but I have been a JAWS user since JFW 2.00 and did not see
this issue until I installed JAWS 16.

I contacted FS Technical Support and, upon their recommendation, did a
repair of the install. As that made no difference, I uninstalled JAWS and
all shared components and reinstalled from the DVD. Still no success! I
contacted technical support again, and not only uninstalled JAWS and all
shared components, but removed all JAWS references from the registry. As
soon as I reinstalled JAWS, it worked correctly! However, the very next
morning, we were back to having the issue.

FS seems to think it is not a JAWS problem, but no one seems to be able
to
tell me what setting on my machine to check or change. All other versions
of
JAWS work beautifully.

Does anyone have any idea at all of something I might try? I find it
frustrating to pay for an SMA and then not be able to use the program to
achieve normal productivity on my job.
