Hi Again Rose, Are you saying you can't get webvisum to install? If so, I have a set of instructions here & hopefully they will help:
Once you have Firefox open, you need to go to the Web Visum website & download the Web Visum add-on. To do this do the folowing; 1. Open Firefox & press control +L, for a new web page. 2. Type in, webvisum, & press control + enter. 3. You will be on the Webvisum home page. Now, arrow down & you wil hear Jaws read the following. Heading Level1Download the WebVisum Firefox extension. Current version: 0.9 Once you click on the add on installation link below, Firefox will notify you that it has prevented the add on from being installed and will prompt you to Allow the install to occur. Press ALT+A when you get this message and allow the installation to proceed. Note: you might have to tab 1 time to the, Install button, & press enter to install the download. Now that you are ready, Link, install the WebVisum extension. Should you need any help with this procedure, please let us know via the Contact Us page. The installation procedure will be simplified in the near future. 4. When you click on the download link & follow the directions that are given, the add-on installs within a few seconds. You need to close Firefox & reopen it. After you open Firefox, press alt + T, for Tools, & arrow down the list to see if you hear, Webvisum submenu. If Webvisum is there., the webvisum add-on has been installed. If you would like Webvisum to Log-in automatically do the following; 1. Open Firefox & press Alt + T, for tools. 2. Arrow down to webvisum submenu & press enter. 3. Arrow down 1 time to preferences & press enter. 4. You will be on the General page so, now tab through to make your selections. Press the spacebar on okay to save your changes & close preferences. When you open the webvisum submenus you can down passed preferences to see what other options are in here. After you open preferences, you can arrow down to see what other options there are, other than General. HTH Take care. It probably is a harbinger of things to come and I am currently fighting with a PDF that won't open or allow me to send it to a virtual printer for conversion (open book) and I need to read it in order to get into a payroll site for a new job I have to take since we are being outsourced. Why we have so darn many road blocks is annoying. I want to go back to DOS web browsers, Word Perfect and no CAPCHAs or PDFs that cause problems. I tried sending this particular one to Dropbox where others open but that is one of two that won't open. I feel more stupid every day even with over 30 years of computer experience and more than 20 years online. Is it really worth getting up for? -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike B. In the past, with Google, I had the same issue. For some reason, Webvisem didn't solve the captcha; I needed aa real pair of eyes to do it. I thought they had fixed their captcha issue, but I guess not. Steve ----- Original Message ----- >From: Mike B. I've been trying for the last 3 hours to create a Gmail email account. I click on the, Sign In link, then go to, Create An Account. I enter my name, what I want my email to be, password / verified password, birthday, did not put in a mobile number, checked the box to accept the terms, & entered the solved Captcha by webvisum. But, when I press the next button I'm taken right back to the top of the, Create Account, page. The password fields are empty so, I create a new password & verify it but, after making sure that all the information is inserted correctly & solve another captcha & press spacebar on the next button it all starts all over again! I'm running XP, Outlook Express, Firefox 35.0.1, & Jaws13. What am I doing wrong?! All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much Take care. Mike This email was sent from my, iBarstool.
