Hi Flor, Yes, I have turned off the virtual cursor & tabbed to make sure that I'm putting the correct info in the correct places. I've also turned off forms mode after each edit field & re-open forms mode before inserting text into the next edit field to make sure that I'm entering the correct text in the correct field. I've tried so many different cominations it seems like I should have created an account just out of sheer mishap! LOL, hahaha hahaha hahaha, LOL
It's time to get my wife involved. I've wasted enough time making this a personal challenge! LOL LOL Thanks for all your help. Take care. Now, it may be important that at this stage we don't rule out there may be something that JAWS is not reading with Firefox on the page. I hope you're not slavishly staying in Forms Mode while filling in the email account and password details. As an alternative, to mmake sure you're editing where it is correct to do so, turn off the virtual cursor with Insert+Z, and listen and tab. I don't know if you've done that. -----Original Message----- From: Mike B. I'm now on WMP12, and it is not or doesn't seem to be there. If using Windows7, how did you unmake Windows Media Player your default player? Reverse that procedure. If you're still using WMP11, Look in Tools | Options. I think File Types is a tab control on its own, probably right-arrow a few times to the right from the General Tab. -- In the name of simplicity, Microsoft makes it harder, to be productive! -----Original Message----- >From: Mike B. When the job has been done, you can reverse the change. AAll of that need take no more than half an hour, and often a lot less. Computers are no respecters of opinion. -----Original Message----- >From: Mike B. Some of them won't play in anything except Windows Media Player. -----Original Message----- >From: Mike B. I need to wait until I get my main computer back from the tech before I start playing with switching default media players. If push comes to shove I can get my wife to set up the Gmail account, & it sounds like it's shove time! LOL, hahaha hahaha hahaha, LOL Take care. I know of one airline's site where, if you use a third-party solution to attempt to solve the CAPTCHA, it knows this and it 'kicks you out' back to the start of the form. Also, there are dynamic http sites where the same CAPTCHA stays but a minute or two, before it changes. In my experience before I gave Facebook my mobile number, it was like that. -----Original Message----- >From: Steve Sent: Friday, February 20, 2015 8:11 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Creating A Gmail Account No, Mike, What happened to me around three years ago when I created this account is the same. Webvisum did claim to solve the captcha that I submitted to google through the clipboard as you do. The point being, it was not correct. This consistently occurred on more than one computer as I've created gmail accounts for others as well. That is the only spot where Webvisum failed to create an account or solve the captcha. ----- Original Message ----- >From: Mike B. I was able to solve every captcha using webvisum but, that didn't amount to much did it! LOL LOL Take care. In the past, with Google, I had the same issue. For some reason, Webvisem didn't solve the captcha; I needed aa real pair of eyes to do it. I thought they had fixed their captcha issue, but I guess not. Steve ----- Original Message ----- >From: Mike B. I've been trying for the last 3 hours to create a Gmail email account. I click on the, Sign In link, then go to, Create An Account. I enter my name, what I want my email to be, password / verified password, birthday, did not put in a mobile number, checked the box to accept the terms, & entered the solved Captcha by webvisum. But, when I press the next button I'm taken right back to the top of the, Create Account, page. The password fields are empty so, I create a new password & verify it but, after making sure that all the information is inserted correctly & solve another captcha & press spacebar on the next button it all starts all over again! I'm running XP, Outlook Express, Firefox 35.0.1, & Jaws13. What am I doing wrong?! All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much Take care. Mike This email was sent from my, iBarstool.
