If you are running JAWS and Open Book, or JAWS and Magic, then this is where
your shared components come into play. two Freedom Scientific products can
share some of the same components of one's installation. Therefore, if you
have two of these installed on your computer, and you uninstall the shared
components when uninstalling, say, JAWS, then Open Book will not work
properly.

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Uninstalling Jaws
Trish,
I do not believe it really makes a difference. The important thing is
whether you want to uninstall the shared components. Personally, I always
choose no to this because if there are other programs relying on those
shared components they will not work correctly. If anyone else on the list
has other information, or does not find what I am saying correct, please
clarify.
Best,
Alan

I need to know which is the best way to remove jaws from my window's 7

Do I do it through the control panel/programs-features or, through Jaws on
start menu uninstall?
Thanks for any help,
Trish
