Kathy, It has been a number of years since I last used Text Cloner, but at that time it was a pretty good product for the price. If you are looking for an affordable product to achieve scanning everyday hardcopy material and have it read back to you, Text Cloner will get the job done. I like to use the analogy, Text Cloner is to OpenBook as a motorcycle is to a car. Both the car and motorcycle will get you to where you need to go, but they each have their pros and cons.
I hope this is at least a little bit helpful. Have you reviewed the features list for each product?
