Hi Trish; although I read that things are back to normal regarding your laptop, battery meeter in system tray, the options you sighted are options found in the windows mobility center.
you can get to the mobility center by using the keystroke, windows-key+x, or, control panel, or, type mobility in the search edit. hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Trish Sent: Sunday, March 8, 2015 7:46 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] Battery Meter in System's Tray it's back to normal and I have a laptop ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Carlson" <dgcarl...@sbcglobal.net> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Saturday, March 07, 2015 10:57 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] Battery Meter in System's Tray Do you have a laptop, or a "no battery" computer? But now in my system's tray, it is showing, the battery meter. I do not have a battery installed, I am running strictly from the power adapter cord. So, wondering why this is showing up? It only used to state, "no battery detected" Is this anything I should be concerned with? I entered on it, and was given 4 options; adjust screen brightness, power options, window's mobility center, and turn on/off task icons The screen brightness is at 40%, is this where it should be? Power options are for, sleeping and hibernating, etc. there is one item checked which states; balanced (recommended) other links to change these settings I already have it set to not go to sleep, no need for a password to wake it up either. Just wanted to run all this by yall. This is on my Window's 7 laptop Thanks, Trish For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
