Hi Trish;
although I read that things are back to normal regarding your laptop,
battery meeter in system tray,
the options you sighted are options found in the windows mobility center.

you can get to the mobility center by using the keystroke, windows-key+x,
or, control panel,
or, type mobility in the search edit.

hope this helps.

Do you have a laptop, or a "no battery" computer?

Subject: [Bulk] [JAWS-Users] Battery Meter in System's Tray

After I did what David Whitehead suggested by deleting the item for the DVD
issue on the DVD/CD not working, and then I rebooted, the item was
reinstalled as he stated.
But now in my system's tray, it is showing, the battery meter. I do not have

a battery installed, I am running strictly from the power adapter cord.
So, wondering why this is showing up?
It only used to state, "no battery detected"

Is this anything I should be concerned with? I entered on it, and was given
4 options; adjust screen brightness, power options, window's mobility
center, and turn on/off task icons

The screen brightness is at 40%, is this where it should be?
Power options are for, sleeping and hibernating, etc. there is one item
checked which states; balanced (recommended)
other links to change these settings
I already have it set to not go to sleep, no need for a password to wake it
up either.
Just wanted to run all this by yall. This is on my Window's 7 laptop

Thanks,

Trish
