I am using windows 7 pro with the jaws 16 the latest build. yes I checked
if all files were there I pressed down arrow and there are actually 25 files

Which version of Windows and Jaws are you using?
Also, did you actually count the number of files in the list, by arrowing
thru the list one at a time?
I have found that on Windows 7, Jaws does not always correctly report the
number of items in a list,
also, make sure that your view is set to "List", in that folder.

this morning I on my hp netbook 210-1245dx I went to my music files and
opened the folder and as it was populating I accidently pressed the down
cursor arrow key and the populating stopped. I know I should have 100 music
files, but when I closed out of the folder and went back into the folder
jaws announced I have only 25 files. I closed and went back in and I still
have 25 files. I checked another folder which I know has also 100 files
opened the folder and no population happened and jaws said I have 27 files.
I restarted the computer checked again and the same thing. what happened to
my files?
