between hitting escape and alt S.

Alt S does make more sense intuitively, though.

Once you're done typing the email address on the third email  edit..
Which is about 7 tabs down  

Just press Alt + S.
Then, you will return back to the inbox.

I tab over to the message option, and hit the escape key, which asks if you
want to save the info.  I say yes, and it is saved.

Don't know if that is easier than what you do, but this is what seems to
work for me.

The disadvantage is that you have to tab quite a few times to get to the
message option, but I guess I've gotten used to it.

Hi Guys,

I am using Outlook 2010. When a person is entering a person new person name
and email address how do you save and close the screen so the information
will be saved in the address book. I use the alt+h then arrowed down until I
hear save and close.  Is this the easiest way or is there another way.
