Hidden text is text you type that is in the document but can be made visible or invisible. It is a major feature when using the Duxbury Word template, which relies on inserting codes that control how the Word file is converted to braille. It is toggled on or off the same as paragraph marks, spaces, etc. Hidden text can be hidden or displayed, printed or not. I believe it is a font attribute.

As for a response, there was an escalated support ticket, but I got no response from FS when I tried to follow up on it with them.

What do you mean hidden text? Like a password field? Do you have the
upgrade for J17? Did they respond to you, they responded to my
suggestion of new features.

In case this is important to anyone other than me, the latest Jaws update
still cannot read hidden text in Word. Yes, I reported it to FS back in
December, but it was not addressed. This makes version 16 still useless to
me, as I need to read hidden text. Sticking with version 15. I don't like
paying for something that ends up being broken and is of no use. Feels like wasting my money. Kind of like betting on horses at the track and hoping for
a winner. lol.
