I know it's happened to me a few times, very frustrating. I was just thankful to have presence of mind to try Alt Tab.

It mostly takes doing that twice, the first Alt-Tab usually take me
someplace else, like right now I was in Internet Explorer when it went to
the Start button; I pressed Alt-Tab and it went to MS Outlook 2010; released
it; pressed Alt-Tab again and it took me back to IE again

Humberto, can you hit Alt Tab and be back where you were, when you have
ended up on the Start Button? Wow, how frustrating!

Hello all:

I have a Dell Precision N6500 64-bit, Win 7 Pro and Jaws 16. Since a few
days ago, I cannot tell if whenI installed the latest version of Jaws 16
or
not, but I don't recall having installed anything else since, the focus
periodically goes to the Start Button, no matter what I am doing; whether
I
am writing a message in MS Outlook 2010, writing on a text editor,
recording
in Gold Wave, or something else, the focus periodically just goes to the
Start Button. It is very annoying. Any ideas?

TIA,

Humberto
