Alan and anyone else interested (maybe this one can go up in the JAWS-users 
programs section, if it's not already), here's another handy free utility to 
check out. I use the JAWS cursor to click on tabs and read the pages:

CPU-Z is a freeware that gathers information on some of the main devices of 
your system : Processor name and number, codename, process, package, cache 
levels, etc.
