I don't think I've ever had a real installation disk since DOS 7. Everything has been OEM. I got the Office 2013 disk directly from Ms, at a special price for state employees--not as cheap as Windows 10, but chump change nonetheless. I hope to upgrade my ISP soon, but I imagine 3GB would be a heck of a file at home speeds.

However, this is an optional update, so you may be given the choice of installing or not. Because I like to know what is being installed on my systems, I have Automatic Updates, set to notify me of updates, but let me choose when to download and install them. Windows 10 is a 3gb download, so I want to know when it is being downloaded. For more specific information, folks should consult the Microsoft website about Windows 10.
