Hi In Windows 8.1, there are two versions of Internet explorer. One version is for the desktop and looks pretty much the same as in earlier Windows versions. I presume that the other version is for touch screen tablets. When you press alt+t, does JAWS say anything? If no, try a SayLine to see where you are and maybe you might just be in the Tools menu. It sounds like you're using the tablet version, which I don't know if it uses menus or ribbons. You could try pressing just alt and arrowing around to find the tools menu. Once you can get into the tools menu, go to the Programs tab and press tab to move to the first item which is a combo box that gives you three choices for which version to run. You want to select the always use the desktop version.
