I did that. I turned it on and it would not speak. My dad saw
this error: "Windows didn't shut down correctly, would you like
to turn it on in safe mode?" My dad hit start normally. He hit
enter. Now jaws started speaking again.

Try unplugging it and removing the battery for 30 seconds,
re-inserting the battery and then try to turn on.

Hf, I have a toshiba windows 7 computer. Today I used apple
software update and it didn't install properly. I went and hit
altogether-fbled and hit restart. All was well until the shut
down sound. After a minute, I heard nothing at all. I tried to
enter my password and nothing happened. I hit the power button
and the computer did not turn on. I charged it and the same
problem happened. I tried to start jaws manually and it wont
even do anyshing. Basically it is unresponsive. How do I force
the computer to restart?
