Here's one thing that I have been wondering about for a while. When I upgraded my computer from XP to windows 7, I had to reload everything , my jaws and office, etc., to my computer because the windows seven wiped out everything on my computer. I suppose that will happen when I, sometime in the future, upgrade to windows ten . Have I got that right? LeDon.

After that period, Windows 10 will have to be purchased either by download from Microsoft, or by purchasing a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. You would have to consult the Microsoft website for their pricing schedule. From what I understand, this will be the last version of Windows, any updates to it will be mandatory unless you have a premium version installed. It appears that they are following the model of Apple. Pay close attention to what I said earlier, this is an upgrade for Windows users, not an update, there is a big difference. Now having said that, also keep in mind that any of this info is subject to change since Windows 10 has not made it to public release yet. HTH, Rick Justice Tomorrow's another day, another way! and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Carlson" <dgcarl...@sbcglobal.net> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Saturday, June 20, 2015 10:19 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] Re: Windows 10 and JAWS Okay, I can hold off on the install. I tried to look for the "fine print" somewhere to tell me what I'll eventually have to pay for the update, but can find nothing. Isn't this going to become an annual subscription for Windows 10 and subsequent updates?
