I am planning to install 1drive but I had no trouble setting up Google Drive and it is another free 15 gb and also works like Dropbox. I put my family videos in there and was totally surprised that the avi format videos played on my iPhone from the Google Drive app. Now I want to set up 1Drive to put my photos and maybe some music to store. I tried the iDrive last yearand got the bargain 100 gb but the interface is impossible with Jaws. I can't get to the files online to delete them and make room for the ones I want. I have also used Carbonite for a few years but it was also hard to access online and even for the medium level it would not automatically back up my home videos. I had to mark each one separately and then at some point their server had a blip and all the videos disappeared again. And the videos of my kids are the most important thing on my computer!!

I have windows 8.1, google says it comes preinstalled, so I searched for it and good grief I got confused; however, it doesn't help that I only spent 30 seconds on it.

Whatever is on my comp, the OneDrive ap, so far, I'm unable to do anything with it.

I shut down my business a few months ago, and my point there is once you don't deal with certain things after a while, it slips the mind. I like that 15 gig storage thing, because I have the standard for dropbox which isn't enough.
Take care.

It is working rather well. The interface couldn't be much easier. It's like drop box, pop something in there and it uploads automatically.

I have such the dry sense of humor, David. Sorry about that.

Like I said, I knew where you were headed with that as well, and I attempted to be mr funny today.

He apologized and now we all move on.

Hows that OneDrive working for ya.

Have a great evening.

I point out that it was a rather abusive statement is all. Just wanted to know why he made it as a curiosity.

I shouldn't chime, but I think his point was he doesn't care for vista?

I know where you're headed with that but...

What's your point if I may be so bold as to ask?

Unfortunitly, I’ve got no clue about Vista, therefore, I don’t use it, nor do I care about vista, because I haven’t heard good things about it!
