Great Pauline,

I had completely forgotten about the Control + 3 and the Control + 1 keystrokes for this. I too am glad to be reminded about it. Simple is better in my book.

Hi Mike,

A couple people on the JAWS list told me about the shortcut control 3, on
the number row.
That worked and brought up the contact list.
Then, control 1, got me back to the inbox email.

So, don't hunt for other methods as these are simple, and even I can follow
a couple of steps.

Thanks much.

Pauline

Hi Pauline,

In Windows Live Mail,
Your contacts are residing in a hidden folder, and going into Folder Options
in Control Panel and selecting Show All Folders, will not make it appear.
There is a way to do this, but I truthfully right now, cannot remember the
steps involved. I can look this up and forward the steps to you if you like.
Selecting Show All Folders in the Folder Options, does not unhide all system
folders, and this is the problem that you are facing. If you will open a new
email message, and shift tab up to Select Contacts, and then tab down
several times in this feature past the search fields and such, you can see a
list of your contacts, and right clicking on any one of them should give you
some options as to what you can do with them.

Yes, I did.
I could find nothing that was a list of contacts, or any options to access
such a list.

Did you try tabbing around in that dialog?

Hi,

Using the key stroke you mentioned takes me to "add a contact."
I want to be able to read all my contacts that are available.

Using Windows Live Mail.

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

Using Jaws16, and Windows 8.1, can someone please tell me how to find and
read my list of contacts?
While I know how to add a new contact, I cannot seem to read my list of
contacts in Windows Live Mail.

Thanks for your help.

Pauline
