For some reason, your first part of your reply does not jive,
Are you using jaws 16?
All I get is the jaws version number using J14.
You can exit from the jaws option menu.
Insert + F4, then spacebar is the recommended key stroke.

press insert + J, up arrow once to “exit” and press return.
Or, as i suggested and someone else suggested, quicker is to press insert + f4,
to be prompted if you want to exit jaws.
