Google stopped developing their 'accessible' page years ago. So it's not surprising that it has stopped working for a lot of people quite recently. It has nothing to do with Google screen-reader. Accessibility has slipped down the Google list of priorities, although they would argue on that. .

I think google makes their own screenreader I'm not sure.  so they would
only make their screenreader compatible and not worry about others I
believe.  how one sided!

Hi list. I have been using google accessibility search engine for some time,
but for the  last week I get a error 404 message when I put in  a search
term. The search engine on google's main page works fine, but this is a lot
more difficult to use for me than the other. I tried both IE and firefox
with the same results. I am using vista and jaws 13. Has anyone had  similar
difficulties? Sorry if this topic has been covered. Thanks
